SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
1. Abstracts must be submitted on or before June 20, 2025.
2. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words in a structured format:

Background: state why the study was done, the main aim and the nature of the study.

Method: describe patients, laboratory material and other methods used.

Results: state the main findings, including important numerical values.
-
Conclusion: state the main conclusions, highlighting controversial/unexpected observations.
3. All abstracts received by the indicated deadline will be evaluated by the PSGS and PALES Committee.
4. Types of presentation
a. Video Presentation
b. Oral Presentation
5. Video should be on mp4 format and within 6 minutes duration; Oral presentation is within 6 minutes.
6. Acceptance notification, together with technical details for presentation (video or oral presentation), will be sent via email to the submitting author.
7. Abstracts (both video and oral) that are accepted for the 2nd PSGS-PALES Annual Convention 2025 will be presented at the convention.
8. Submissions not selected for video/oral presentation will be included in the poster category. Poster presenters will be assigned specific time slots at their stations to engage with convention participants interested in their work.
9. Must register and upload proof of registration.

There will be 2 minutes of Q and A a part from the presentation

e.g. name of institution, training program, author, patient, surgeon, logo, watermark and the like

No voice-over and no background music

One video per presenter

The video submitted will be the one to be presented during the contest proper

Automatic 5-point deduction per violation therein
